About Me

Food has been my constant since I was a kid sneaking extra bites at family dinners. After high school I joined the military, which turned out to be the best (and wildest) experience I never signed up for. Stationed everywhere from Germany to South Korea, I spent my leave chasing street-food stalls, hole-in-the-wall trattorias, and grandmothers who didn’t speak a word of English but still insisted I finish three more plates. Those years taught me that great flavor doesn’t need a passport, but it sure helps to have one.

In 2022 I decided to get serious. I enrolled at Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts, graduated in 2024 and I’m currently enrolled receiving more education. School helped me why the French get so dramatic about sauce consistency .

These days you’ll find me all over TikTok (BasedBro1776), breaking down the recipes I love most: big, bold French and Italian dishes that look fancy but don’t require a trust fund or three days of your life. I’m obsessed with maximizing flavor out of every ingredient, plating something that makes you stop scrolling, and proving that restaurant-level food belongs in home kitchens.

Whether it’s a perfect Chicken Marsala with a sauce you’ll want to drink straight, a blistering-hot steak au poivre, or fresh pasta that ruins dried boxed stuff forever, my goal is simple: give you recipes that work every time and taste like you’ve been cooking for decades.
